Service 01 · Hardware Infrastructure

Network infrastructure, racks and connectivity

Cabling, patch panels, racks and organised connections for a network that can be traced and maintained without improvisation.

Patch panel with cables and network infrastructure connections

Example of structured cabling and connection organisation inside a technical enclosure.

What this can include

  • structured cabling and termination in patch panels;
  • racks, cable routes, connectors and labelling;
  • integration of switches, routers and workstations;
  • preparation for servers, Wi-Fi, cameras or telephony;
  • a clearer foundation for service and future expansion.

Logical structure and segmentation

The physical network also needs a clear logic

Alongside cabling, the relationship between devices, users and separate networks can be defined more clearly. This creates a more orderly basis for connectivity, access and security.

Example of topology and segmentation between devices and networks.

Target result: infrastructure that is visible, understandable and easier to administer.

Service 02 · Smart Devices

Installation and configuration of smart devices

Smart modules are useful when they have a clear role in the installation: control, measurement, sensor response or integration into a larger scenario.

Shelly device for smart electrical circuit control

Example of a compact module for local control, measurement and automation.

What this can include

  • installation and configuration of relays, energy modules or sensors;
  • integration into the local network and functional verification;
  • links with switches, loads and control points;
  • basic scenarios for scheduling, response and control;
  • preparation for OpenHAB, Home Assistant or other systems.

Suitable for: lighting, electrical loads, energy measurement and comfort automation.

Service 03 · Embedded Systems

Embedded computers and compact controllers

Compact platforms for local control, data collection, communication or technical applications without requiring a full PC.

Compact embedded board for control and integration

Example of an embedded platform for local integration and technical control.

What this can include

  • selecting a suitable platform for the required role;
  • configuring operating system, storage and networking;
  • integration with I/O, sensors, actuators, serial or Ethernet;
  • preparation for service access and later updates;
  • basic testing before final system integration.

Integration into equipment

A compact base for a specific function

Depending on the project, the same logic can run on another board or be integrated into a larger technical assembly. The chosen platform should be stable enough and easy to maintain.

Compact embedded board for integration into technical equipment

Another compact board format prepared for equipment integration.

Focus: a small, stable and clearly configured platform for its real role.

Service 04 · HMI

Industrial touchscreens and HMI interfaces

Integration of an operator display when users need to see states, values and commands without entering technical configuration screens.

Industrial touchscreen for HMI interface and local control

Industrial touchscreen that can become a local HMI interface.

What this can include

  • selection and integration of a touchscreen or operator panel;
  • power, connectivity and connection to the automation layer;
  • structure of screens, buttons and visual feedback;
  • display of relevant values, alarms, states and commands;
  • a simple interface designed around actual use.

Can also include screen design: navigation, information structure and interaction logic.

Service 05 · Renewable Energy

Audit for renewable energy and consumption management

A practical audit to understand where energy is used, what is worth measuring and where automatic control can have a real effect.

Consumption and available energy sources are the basis for better decisions.

What this can include

  • identifying relevant loads and how they are used;
  • suitable points for measurement and monitoring;
  • options for load prioritisation or automatic control;
  • the link between production, consumption and usage patterns;
  • a technical base before investment or optimisation.

Focus: decisions based on real consumption and concrete control points, not just equipment lists.

Service 06 · Resource Management

Temperature and resource control

Temperatures, schedules and zones can be managed better when measurement, setpoints and system response are connected coherently.

Thermostatic valve display for temperature control

Example of local temperature control and operating mode management.

What this can include

  • configuration of devices for room or zone control;
  • day/night schedules, savings modes and protection;
  • links with sensors, window contacts or heat sources;
  • local or remote monitoring and adjustment;
  • a clearer logic between comfort, consumption and space use.

Target result: more control over comfort, with less waste and better predictability.

How I approach this kind of work

I start from the function that has to exist in reality, not from a product list. The first version should be installable and testable without making the project unnecessarily complex.

Working steps

  • clarify the context, existing equipment and scope;
  • define what needs to be connected, measured, controlled or displayed;
  • choose the smallest version that can be checked in practice;
  • implement, test and leave a better base for the next stage.

Collaboration and boundaries

Depending on the project, I can work directly on integration, configuration, data cabling, control, testing and documentation. Work that requires authorised electrical design, regulated installation, certification or specialised manufacturing may need the right complementary expertise.

Do you have a system that needs to be connected, organised or controlled?

Send a short description of what exists, what must work and where the blockage is. The first step is to clarify what can be done simply and what belongs in the next stage.
